Hey Mikan,
Here's a suggestion that I just sent to one of your classmates. The long list of short and shorter book reviews on your blog makes it look like you could use the same advice:
I suggest that you go back and develop each one of your book first six book reviews into two, three or more paragraphs using a variety of sentence structures and modes of expression. If you are short of ideas on how to develop your writing ability, you should check out the five paragraph essay slide show and other writing resources on the Writing Studio Wiki.
You also can start counting words in your book reviews to get a rough idea of just how much they do (or don't) develop over time. You'll need word counts for the first six of your book reviews for your proto-portfolio on Wed., May 23.
